Canada set to give new work permits to individuals ready to relocate to Yukon Canada
The announcement was made by Canada’s immigration minister at the conclusion of a meeting with the Government of Yukon. It is a pilot program and the measure would help attract temporary workers to assist in sectors crucial to the economic development in the territory. This pathway would eventually lead them to becoming permanent residents.
According to Minister Miller “This agreement is a critical development that will allow foreign nationals to remain in the Yukon and continue to provide valuable contributions to our labour market…..”
