π‘ Canada Announces Permanent Residency Admissions Target for Home Care Workers! π¨π¦

Exciting news for caregivers! Canada has set a new admissions target for its upcoming Home Care Worker Pathway to Permanent Residency (PR). 2,750 home care workers under its new Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot (HCWP) would be admitted, 150 of which would be for home care workers currently out of status in Canada.
This initiative aims to fill critical labor shortages in home care services while providing a stable future for skilled workers in the sector.
πΉ Whatβs new?
βοΈ A dedicated PR pathway for home care professionals
βοΈ Increased admissions targets to welcome more eligible candidates

This is a major opportunity for those working in home support and personal care roles. The first phase of this application process will only accept applications through the Workers in Canada stream.
